Nostra AI, a New York-based e-commerce optimization software provider, has raised $8.9 million in a funding round led by High Alpha.

The funds will be used to enhance its Edge Delivery Engine, which boosts website speed and performance, driving higher conversion rates. This latest investment brings Nostra AI's total funding to $20 million.

“Our proprietary Edge Delivery Engine makes websites substantially faster, instantly — customers are seeing over a 10% revenue increase by reducing page load time,” said Arthur Root, CEO and Founder of Nostra AI.

The round also saw participation from Signal Peak Ventures, Sugar Capital, and Crosscut, alongside angel investors such as Matthew Prince, CEO of Cloudflare.

Nostra AI’s Edge Delivery Engine examines personalized content, determining what can be cached to decrease load times.

This technology, combined with their Crawler Optimization, aims to enhance both user experience and bot interactions, benefiting enterprise clients like Forever 21 and rapidly growing brands like Jones Road Beauty and BRUNT Workwear.

“We believe in personalized online experiences, but website speed became an issue. Nostra AI dramatically improved our page load speed, boosting return on ad spend and conversion rates,” said Cody Ploker, Chief Marketing Officer at Jones Road Beauty.

The company processes over 450 million monthly website visits and plans to use the new funding to expand its reach into Shopify and Salesforce ecosystems, focusing on research and development to further improve its technology.

Kristian Andersen, Co-Founder of High Alpha, added,

“Nostra AI delivers clear value for e-commerce brands. We’re excited to support their team as they lead the website speed optimization market.”

With this new capital, Nostra AI aims to continue driving innovation and providing solutions that cater to the growing demands of the e-commerce sector.

Conclusion

Nostra AI's focus on optimizing website performance highlights the increasing importance of speed in e-commerce success. As the company continues its expansion, its ability to improve user experience and conversion rates will likely play a key role in shaping the future of online retail.
