Morning Tick is an online publication dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT). We conduct ongoing research across the IoT landscape to discover connected-device startups, highlight industry founders, and engage enterprise leaders. Our mission is to share their latest developments and extract meaningful insights.

We have moved beyond generating cheap, news-based stories and no longer accept sponsorships from random advertisers.

Instead, we provide a dedicated platform for smart engineers, IoT executives, and hands-on builders who want deep, specialized content instead of surface-level tech journalism. Morning Tick is your destination for genuine IoT thought leadership.

Our Journey & Evolution (2019–2026)

Morning Tick has been online since 2019, though our focus and core editorial agenda have evolved significantly as we sought the right fit for our expertise and long-term vision.

• 2019–2021: We originally targeted young tech enthusiasts with content focused on smartphone launches, gadget reviews, and software updates.
• 2021–2024: We shifted toward AI, Web3, and the Metaverse. However, limiting ourselves to three isolated niches felt overly restrictive, especially as cryptocurrency platforms dominated the Web3 space.
• 2024–2026: Recognizing the rapid boom in AI, our founder consolidated these subjects under a single umbrella: Emerging Technologies. While this covered the broader tech evolution, operating purely as a fast-paced news site proved unsustainable. As soon as stories aged, traffic dropped. This approach was too volatile, preventing us from realizing Morning Tick's full potential or delivering maximum value to our readers.

The Pivot to IoT (September 2026) In mid-September 2026, after an in-depth performance review, we realized our core passion lies in Data. Data powers everything, from industrial machinery to satellite networksin an increasingly interconnected world. As global connectivity expands, the demand for computing power and real-time data rises alongside it.

Recognizing this shift, we made a definitive commitment: Internet of Things (IoT) is our permanent core focus.

Who is the founder?

Rather than following a traditional founder backstory, Morning Tick was acquired in 2019–2020 for a nominal fee by its current Manager & Editor, Aditya (Addy), to launch a magazine-style tech publication.

Is Morning Tick backed by a registered company?

Yes. Morning Tick is owned and operated by RiseSky Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a boutique firm directed by Aditya. RiseSky manages the financial and operational aspects of running the publication but maintains zero influence over Morning Tick’s independent editorial agenda.
