Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO announced about the launch of its upcoming 5G smartphone with a promo poster. The poster published on Weibo suggests the device name, its processor, battery and the price of the device. We already heard about two 5G smartphones under iQOO series – Vivo iQOO and Vivo iQOO Neo. We already reported that OnePlus & Vivo 5G smartphones got 3C certifications. Now, Vivo is planning to make it official soon.

As per the source, the Vivo iQOO’s upcoming device will be called Vivo iQOO Plus 5G. As the name suggests, it’s going to be a device that supports 5G connectivity. The Vivo iQOO 5G Plus mobile is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. We already using the same chipset on gaming smartphones like Asus ROG Phone 2 and other upcoming smartphones includes – Black Shark 2 Pro, Red Magic 3S. The device comes with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Moreover, in terms of design, the Vivo iQOO Plus 5G looks similar like Vivo iQOO and the device is packed with a 4,500mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging technology. Alongside, the poster reveals the Vivo iQOO 5G Plus price, which comes with a price tag of 4,498 Yuan (~$654). When comparing with other smartphones with the same SoC, the iQOO 5G version device seams worth it. For the same price tag, we get 5G connectivity and powerful processor.

That’s all the information we have right now regarding this mysterious Vivo iQOO 5G plus smartphone. Till there is no official confirmation about the release date of iQOO 5G device. We expect that Vivo will launch the iQOO Plus 5G within the third quarter of this year.
