Tango, an innovative social platform specializing in live-stream broadcasting, has launched a Valentine’s Day card auction on its live stream platform. The NFT-like Tango Card auction began on February 10 and runs through Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Rewarding Users with Valentine’s Day card auction

Although social media enables content creators to interact with their fans via live streaming and other mechanisms, most platforms, despite facilitating brand building, do not reward users. Tango’s platform is unique because it allows all users to earn.

Typically, users can buy coins to send as gifts to their favorite broadcasters, known as “Livers”. In addition, users can create, buy, and sell NFT-like Tango Cards through the new Tango Card Marketplace. Moreover, Tango Cards can be minted, just like NFTs, allowing all users to earn a profit through the Marketplace.

Since Tango users support their favorite broadcasters, the platform is holding a special auction this valentine’s in the Tango Card Marketplace that will allow users to  purchase their favourite Liver’s cards and/or sell their personalized Tango cards.

Speaking about the auction, Uri Raz, Tango’s CEO said:

Buying a Valentine’s Day card is a fun way to celebrate the holiday and a great way to stand out among a crowd of fans. It’s also potentially a chance to turn in a good profit— you never know how big your favorite streamer may turn in the future!

The cards also send notifications to the streamer when fans join their stream. Users placing their cards for sale in the Marketplace can also make them available for fellow users to purchase, thereby benefitting both the creator and the previous owner.

What is Tango?

Based in Mountain View, California, Tango is a B2C platform for live video broadcasts. The social community gives creators (Livers) a space to share high-quality live streamed content accompanied by a live messaging chat, building a digital economy that fosters social connections and fan monetization.

Tango was founded in 2009 by Uri Raz and Eric Setton as a mobile cross-platform, cross-network, messaging application, prior to its transition into live streaming. Tango distributed more than $130 million to more than 200,000 Livers worldwide in 2021. For more information, visit www.tango.me.
