Mlytics, an AI-based traffic management platform with CDN marketplace has established a strategic partnership with Microsoft to apply the power of Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.

Through the partnership, Mlytics will use its AI capabilities to improve web performance, resiliency, and user experience for users. Specifically, Microsoft and Mlytics will work together to promote Mlytics platform globally and scale Mlytics AI capabilities for Multi CDN orchestration and DDoS attack mitigation across regions.

Importantly, Mlytics is available on Microsoft Azure Marketplace for the ecosystem to leverage the Mlytics / Microsoft power to optimize and augment efficiency and effectiveness of cloud delivery and performance.

Rationale for the partnership

Usually, businesses rely on (single) CDN to boost their website performance and to improve their coverage while anticipating that the vendor will perform optimally

However, relying on a single CDN alone cannot always guarantee optimal global performance. Every single CDN provider stays vulnerable to outages.  More often than not, there is a CDN that performs at least 30% better than the one in use at a time and location.

That is why businesses must adopt a strategy that employs redundancies at the CDN level to avoid unwanted revenue losses from outages. This can be achieved by upgrading to a fully automated Multi CDN strategy.

Microsoft and Mlytics share the same goal of improving web performance, resiliency, and user experience through smart Multi CDN orchestration. A multi CDN strategy provides a higher level of availability and delivery redundancies.

Therefore, in case one CDN goes offline, experiences DDoS attacks, or goes to a full outage, the system will simply reroute the traffic automatically to the best performing CDN. Microsoft will help Mlytics bring its platform to market globally while providing robust and scalable AI technologies to achieve that shared goal.

Mlytics utilization of the Azure Load Balancer

As the first and the true Multi CDN solution provider which utilizes AI to optimize Multi CDN orchestration with its Smart Load Balancer, Mlytics will utilize the Azure Load Balancer to distribute the internet and private network traffic with high performance and low latency.

Moreover Azure Load Balancer’s cross-region load balancer which is in preview will enable geo-redundant High Availability scenarios. Specifically, it will addresses scenarios such as incoming traffic originating from multiple regions, instant global failover to the next optimal regional deployment, and ability to scale up/down behind a single endpoint, among others.

With agility, scalability and security at its core, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning is well aligned to support Mlytics’ strategies. Moreover, it is optimized to empower developers to rapidly build, deploy, and manage high-quality ML models. This supports the Mlytics team to keep innovating and reach new heights in evolving a predictive distribution model.
