VeganNation is a UK subsidiary of an Israeli startup, SIPUP. It was founded by Isaac Thomas as the first blockchain in the world with a marketplace where a global vegan community could connect with organizations, individuals, and businesses with an interest in Vegan restaurants and stores where transactions on goods ranging from fashion, food, wellness, and health can be carried out within its green payment system. In a recent announcement, it noted that its native token, the GreenCoin (GRNC), will be listed on three global cryptocurrency exchanges, which are Liquid, FlowBTC, and Bittrex. This will ensure that the over 65,000 businesses and users that have signed up with the platform have easy access to the GRNC token.
Why the choice of the three exchanges?
Considering the fact that cryptocurrency transactions are meant to be virtual and conducted with ease, VeganNation made the choice of Liquid exchange which enables its users to buy and sell crypto coins/tokens with fiat. This will ensure that the VeganNation community can easily purchase GRNC with fiat regardless of where they are located, thereby increasing mass adoption. Also, the Bittrex exchange is the most trusted exchange with unmatched security for cryptocurrency transactions and is ranked 23rd for spot trading according to CoinMarketCap. FlowBTC also offers free wallets to crypto users, which gives room for new users in the Vegan ecosystem to have a crypto account.
