LG launched its latest gaming monitor, the 32UN650-W on August 21, 2020. It has special features that make PC gaming a completely immersive experience, and is equipped to deal with long arduous studio work.
LG 32” UHD Gaming monitor Specifications
The screen is based on LG’s IPS (In-Plane Switching) model, and employs 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, 95% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1.07 billion colors (10 bpc), and HDR10. For gaming purposes, this monitor has AMD FreeSync capabilities, a black stabilizing function, and dynamic action sync. To avoid strain on the eyes after long hours of usage, LG has equipped the device with blue light reduction, and flicker-free brightness adjustment.
The monitor also handles a response time of 5ms and has a 60Hz refresh rate, along with a 178-degree/178-degree viewing angle. It is stated to have a DisplayPort 1.2a and 2 additional HDMI ports.
The screen has a Dual controller option – allowing users to access two different screens at once using one input channel. This proves to be effective during studio work like multimedia production. Lastly, it features two 5W built-in speakers which can make gameplays more immersive.
Price and availability
It is expected to be available for retail on September 21, 2020 at a price of $496.99, according to the B&H Photo-Video website.
LG stated in their press release earlier this month that they would be launching a series of monitors to “enhance multitasking, work productivity, comfort and deliver a lightning-fast gaming experience”.
