After lots of ban issues, Huawei has finally unveiled its first-ever smartphone that supports 5G connectivity, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G. The Mate 20X 5G is available for pre-order on Amazon Italy and it will go on sale in China from July 26. The smartphone is also available in the UAE via Etisalat for AED 3,523 which is nearly $960.
Huawei Mate 20 X 5G comes with the Balong 5000 5G modem which supports different network protocols including 4G, 3G and 2G connectivity. The device also supports both non-standalone & Standalone 5G networks.
Talking about the technical specs, the handset is equipped with similar specs of Huawei Mate 20X device. The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G sports a 7.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 24-megapixel front-facing the camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Mate 20 X 5G comes with a triple rear-camera setup – 40MP + 20MP + 8MP Leica sensors. It also comes with 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
As mentioned, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is already on sale in UAE through Etisalat stores for $960. Some sources reports, the smartphone will be released across a large number of European region which includes UK, Switzerland, Monaco before July 26. The Mate 20 X 5G is available for pre-order on Amazon Italy for €1,099 with the assured release date, 22nd July 2019.
