Huami launches Amazfit GTS, Amazfit Stratos 3 and Amazfit X smartwatches

Today, Huami announced three new smartwatches in China, named Amazfit GTS, Amazfit Stratos 3 and Amazfit X smartwatch. These three new wearables come with new design and features.

As reported, the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 comes with round dial design with packed features and the Amazfit GTS smartwatch does look like Apple Watch series and the Amazfit X comes with bracelet design like a futuristic gadget.

Talking about the Amazfit GTS smartwatch, it sports a 1.65-inch square super AMOLED screen with 341ppi pixel density, 100% NTSC color saturation and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartwatch steals the design of Apple iWatch series and uses aerospace-grade aluminum alloy metal body. The Amazfit GTS comes with 5ATM waterproof and with built-in GPS + GLONASS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity,

The company claims the smartwatch can last up to 14 days on a single charge. It also includes 12 different modes to monitor the fitness actives and with the help of Biotracker PPG optical sensor, it can monitor the heart rate for 24×7. Other sensors include 6-axis accelerometer, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor and pressure sensor.

Talking about the availability and pricing, the Huami Amazfit GTS is priced at 899 Yuan (~ Rs.8900) and will be available in 6 color variants – Black, Grey, Red, Pink, Blue and Light Brown.

Amazfit Stratos 3 comes with a 1.34-inch round dial screen with a resolution of 320×320 pixels. The smartwatch is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB storage. The new Stratos 3 has four physical buttons with dedicated functions to each. The smartwatch has 316L stainless dial, a silicone strap and it 5ATM rated.

Sensors onboard include same at the GTS variant –  Biotracker PPG bio-tracking optical sensor,  6-axis accelerometer, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor and pressure sensor. The smartwatch offers 19 different sports modes and supports NFC access. It also includes GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0 and and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The Huami Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 will be available in three edition – Classic Edition (1,299 Yuan), Elite Edition (1,699 Yuan) and Star Wars Edition. These new sports smartwatches look expensive!

Alongside, Huami revealed the official concept of its upcoming smart fitness band named, Amazfit X. It sure looks like a futuristic fitness band with improved design and features. Huami Technology, mentioned: “This is a conceptual watch for the future of the smart wearable industry, exploring more possibilities.”

The Amazfit X features a 2.07-inch screen with 430nits brightness along with 3D super-arc curvature design. The wearable has no physical buttons instead, it comes with pressure triggers for controls.

Huami Amazfit X packed with 220mAh battery and the company claims it can last up to 7 days of daily use. Sadly, the Amazfit X is scheduled to launch somewhere in 2020 and still the pricing and launch details is unknown.
