Adidas Originals have partnered with Prada to create an NFT Project that will feature content generated by random community users. A creative digital artist will combine these photographs into one mosaic. The project will bring together players from different fields such as fashion, art and cryptocurrency.
Three thousand community members will be called upon to submit anonymous photographs to this NFT project. These individual photos will then be collectively designed by Zach Liebarman. Participants on this project will be randomly picked from the community. Applying to be included is free and open to all. There will be no mint or gas fees charged. The final piece will be an ERC 721 artwork that will be put up for auction. All participants on this project retain their individual rights to photos that they submit to the project.
How to participate in this project
Participants need to have a digital wallet that they will use to register. Registration kicks off on January the 24th. Users will be required to submit photographs while following instructions laid down by the main designer. This is what will constitute the individual contribution. Three thousand participants will be randomly selected to participate in the art collection from all these. The chosen individuals will return to the mint website and mint their photographs NFT. These individual contributions will then be compiled into one artwork by Zach Lieberman.
Successful applicants can connect their wallets to the mint site to see if they were invited to participate in this NFT. A list of successful wallet addresses will also be made public. Unsuccessful applicants can still bid on the final canvas or trade individual NFTs on the secondary market.
Artwork will be suctioned
Once the artwork is complete and minted as one final NFT, it will be auctioned at super rare marketplace. This should be done between January 28 and 31st.
The proceeds will be split with 80% going to a non-profit organization, 5% going to the artist and 15% shared to all participants who created tiles.
Tile holders can choose to hold or trade their individual tiles. The wallets used to create the tiles will always receive revenues in perpetuity.
