While tech enthusiasts are still waiting for the release date for the Google Pixel 5 and 4a, some details about its specifications might be allegedly leaked.
Courtesy of Onleaks or Steve H.McFly, the display will almost look like its predecessor – the Pixel 4. The leaked report said that while smartphones today come equipped with features like facial recognition, the new Google phones will have only a standard fingerprint module.
Rumour has it that after the previous smartphones of the Pixel line failed to drive the sales as expected, the company had to rethink its approach should they continue the line. However, if the price had to be maintained, it would be wise if the phones have a similar design as the previous ones.
H.McFly tweeted that the Pixel 5 leaks “sowed huge confusion” and that there are actually three rendered models floating about. Apart from the Google Pixel 5 and 4a, there were also the Pixel 5 XL, and Pixel 5 XL 5G. The renders leaked by Onleaks showed that all three models are to have rear three-camera modules.
Even though the leaked information cannot be confirmed yet, tech lovers are disappointed with these specifics as it seems regressive. The official specifics may only be revealed this fall.
