Sony has postponed the June 4 PS5 event

The Sony’s PS5 launch event was scheduled to be announced at 5 a.m. on June 4 at 1 p.m. Japanese time, but according to CNN BUSINESS reports, the launch event will be postponed.

Behind the postponement is an incident in which a Minneapolis police officer died while detaining a black man. Protests have taken place across the United States, Sony interactive entertainment posted on Twitter, “I don’t think it’s time to celebrate.”
