Last year, Samsung released two smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Active and the Galaxy Watch Active 2, in eight months, and neither has a physical ring. Samsung did introduce a virtual touch bezel in the Galaxy Watch Active 2, which works well for software features, but there’s nothing more handy and convenient than a real physical bezel, and that’s a vision that could become a reality today.
Previously reported that the new Galaxy Watch will feature a 45mm watch panel, between the Galaxy Watch Active 2 (44mm) and the larger Galaxy Watch model (46mm), according to FCC certification. Samsung is also reported to be releasing a new titanium watch, which could be much more expensive than aluminum and stainless steel.
The next-generation Galaxy Watch smartwatch is expected to be launched in August, along with the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Tab S7/S7 Plus.
