KZ had released and withdrawn KZ T1 quite fast than expected so the whole tech world was waiting for what could be KZ’s next. Now, KZ has cooked its second iteration of KZ T1, KZ T2. It is nothing but a true wireless budget earbud.KZ has been offering budget friendly devices for quite a time but recently, most of its product line got bugged by the inconsistent build quality and inane user experience so the company will be looking forward to rebuild its reputation with this product.
To start with, KZ T2 Ear Monitors offers a 10 hour playtime with 1 full charge. The charge is done through USB Type C slot. The case cover is so lightweight that it can be easily lifted with one finger. There is a “Green” light indicates that indicates when the battery is at least 70% charged. The case has no external light indicator. This green LED light indicator is located inside the case where you need to lift the cover.
The design is enigmatic. The case is stereotypical with its black matte surface with rounded corners. Frankly, the plastic body does not offer the sophistication of a premium device but the cost surely gives one a great feel. Overall, the build quality is decent.
The earbuds offer 30 minutes of playback with a charge of 15 minutes. The battery lasts for around 4 hrs on single charge. The charging speed for the earbuds is slow, clocking at 30mins playtime with 15 mins of charging.
There is “High Performance Mode” which can be activated by triple tapping either side of the earbuds. As soon as you do this, a voice will echo “High Performance Mode” and similarly, you can switch it off by doing the same action. You will get a voice confirmation saying “Standard Mode”.
The earbuds are powered by a CVC Noise Isolating Microphone. The bass is strong while the mids are neither recessed nor forward. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity options. For more details, visit the official Indiegogo webpage.
