It is reported that according to a new document found in the Eurasian Economic Commission database, Apple seems to be working on a new iPad Pro – A2229. The upcoming iPad, iPad Pro – A2229 is said to run on iPadOS 13. However, as per the MacRumors report, the device is not yet confirmed whether it is an iPad, or an iPad Pro, or an iPad mini. MacRumors reported this on Monday.
Eurasian Economic Commission filings like these have foreshadowed the release of new Apple products on numerous occasions over the years. Some of the leaks include Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch, and AirPods models.
It seems that an Apple leak news is incomplete without renowned leaker Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo recently revealed that Apple is developing six products with Mini-LED displays for release by the end of 2021. He also revealed what the models might be. As per Kuo, the 6 models are a 12.9 inches iPad Pro, a 10.2 inches iPad, a 7.9 inches iPad mini, a 27 inches iMac Pro, a 14 inches MacBook Pro and 16 inches MacBook Pro models.
Apple would also adopt Mini LED backlighting for “a few models of LCD monitors” but as of now, it is unclear if this refers to iMac / iMac Pro or standalone displays. A few weeks back, in a research note with TF International Securities, Kuo said that the iPad Pro models will gain 3D sensing through the rear-facing camera systems. There, Apple is expected to use a time of flight system that measures the time that it takes for light to bounce off of objects in a room to generate a 3D image map.
