After almost six months of literally pilot testing, finally today, Chinese tech giant OnePlus launched its doorstep after-sales service in India. As of now, this service is available in only a handful of cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune.

In order to avail the service of fixing your OnePlus device at your convenience from home, all you have to do is install the OnePlus Care app in your system. You can get it by downloading it from this link.
Once you have downloaded and installed the app in your mobile device, just open the app and tap on “Book a Repair” and choose your OnePlus device. After this, you have to enter your area PIN code or you can also tap on Auto detect to let your device automatically detect your location through GPS.
After this, tap on “Get an engineer to visit your location” and fill the necessary details and tap on “Save this”. This will raise a device fixture request. As you can imagine, very soon some OnePlus engineer representatives will communicate with you and visit you in order to fix your device.
As of now, you won’t get the option “Get an engineer to visit your location” but this will be added soon. As of now, you have to be happy with the option of “We Pick up Your Device” and “You Visit the Authorised Service Center”.
OnePlus said that it has planned to expand this initiative in all tier 1 and most tier 2 cities of the country very soon. OnePlus is now offering a pick and drop service that is available in over 8000 Pin codes in India.
