According to recent reports, a new Oppo Reno mobile phone has been patented. Oppo has launched a number of interesting models since the launch of the Reno series of smartphones. Oppo launched the Reno flagship in last April. The phones have a stylish design with the main focus on the camera. Just to let you know, OPPO Reno 10x zoom was the first smartphone with a 10x hybrid zoom function.
Back in Mid 2019, OPPO applied to CNIPA (the State Intellectual Property Office of China) for a smartphone design patent with no less than seven rear cameras which also comes with flash.
Leaked news suggests that there are two models shown in the patent documents and their number of cameras corresponds. The shape of the camera system does differ. Now LetsGoDigital has produced one of the 3D renderings giving a clearer impression.
The patented Oppo handset comes with a design that is more or less similar to that of Nokia 9 PureView. However, the Nokia handset was equipped with a five-shot camera along with flash and fingerprint scanning while the OPPO’s patented mobile phone is equipped with seven camera lenses along with a flash at the rear. Some of the experts are considering that one of the holes might be that of a microphone.
The camera circles are the same size, presumably, one of them will be used as a flash. The middle camera is the largest of the lot. The rectangular module that can be seen below might be an optical zoom lens.
The patented images also show an almost borderless screen with a small perforated notch. We have to wait and see if this device becomes reality ever. Throughout the years we have seen that very few numbers of devices from all companies finally penetrates the market.
