Back in 2019, Chinese tech giant Huawei launched its Vision Smart TV lineup in China and within a year, today, the company confirmed that it will add a new Enterprise grade Smart Display to its lineup on 24th Feb at the virtual press conference in Barcelona, Spain.
Huawei has also come up with a teaser video of the device which ended up confirming some of the leaked features. The company is going to offer a rollable stand for the display which means the smart display will be portable. The company considers that this enterprise grade smart display will focus on 4 core features: Team Ideas, Remote Collaboration, Smart Interaction, and Enterprise Applications.
The teaser video has confirmed that the display comes with the same functional capability as Microsoft Surface Hub 2S Whiteboard. It seems that this strategic move will place the lineup in direct competition with the likes of Microsoft Surface Hub 2S Whiteboard which was also specially designed by for enterprise users.
It seems that it might offer features like teleconferencing between teams and touch screen interactions. Like other consumer-grade Vision TVs in China, this display will run on the company’s very own operating system, HarmonyOS.
The teaser video highlights the seamless collaboration between laptops and mobile devices. Huawei might make this device 5G compatible but it is yet to be confirmed. Like other consumer-grade Vision TV variants, there will be a camera on board.
Huawei Vision TV is powered by a Honghu 818 quad core processor that is based on Cortex A73. In terms of graphics, it will be powered by a quad core Mali G65 GPU. Connectivity options include 5 GHz Wi-Fi, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and Bluetooth LE support. There are HDMI 2.0, coaxial, and USB 3.0 ports in the display. It comes in 3 size variants: 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches and features a 65W speaker unit on board.
