Xiaomi teases new Wired Earphones launch in India

In order to continue its efforts to expand its consumer electronics portfolio in India beyond smartphones and smart televisions, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi had come up with an electric toothbrush. The electric toothbrush penetrated the Indian consumer market with features like antimicrobial bristles and 25-day battery life. Now, soon after the launch of the electric toothbrush, the company has started teasing a new audio product that has been scheduled to be launched in the country on 25th February.

Xiaomi is advertising the new product as an “HD Audio” product that will offer an ‘electrifying sound experience’. It must be noted that though we have only four days away from the launch, the company is yet to reveal anything regarding what the product will be.

However, as per rumours, the new product is nothing but a pair of wired earphones that will be an upgrade over the models that were launched earlier. We have to wait four days more to see what the company has silently cooked for us.

In Twitter, the official page of Mi India posted “Perfectly balanced sound with twice the drive.#HDAudio unveiling on 25th February. #108MP IS COMING!”

As you can see, in the official tweet, the company has also claimed that the device will offer “Perfectly balanced sound with twice the drive”, suggesting that the earphones might come with larger drivers than its predecessors.

Lately, Xiaomi has been coming with products literally one after another in no time. Just last week, it launched a portable Bluetooth speaker called the Mi Outdoor Bluetooth speaker. The Bluetooth speaker penetrated the Indian consumer market with a small cuboid form factor and was priced at the rate of INR1399.

Similarly, in the last couple of years, we have seen the Chinese tech giant coming up with various products like Mi Beard Trimmer, Mi Truck Builder, Mi Water TDS Tester, and Mi Router.
