It is expected that Lenovo will unveil NEC branded PC products in the US market in the upcoming spring. In its first series of launch, Lenovo will come up with a LaVie Pro Mobile, a laptop with a 13.3 inches OLED display, a 15.6 inches laptop named LaVie Vega, and a new AIO model called LaVie Home. All os this expected to happen within March 2020.
Lenovo claimed that The LaVie Pro Mobile and the thin and light notebook with a 13.3 inches OLED panel design will offer 15 hours of battery life. The battery uses a lithium-magnesium alloy bottom and a carbon fiber top cover.
The handset will be 1.55 cm thick and it will weigh 837 grams only. A list of supported ports of the laptop will include a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A slot, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 or Gen 2 Type-C slots, one HDMI 1.4b slot, a micro SD memory card slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The wireless connection will include 2 × 2 Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0support.
The handset and the laptop will be powered by an 8th generation Intel Core processor that runs on Intel Whiskey Lake architecture. The best variant will be powered by a Core i7-8565U processor and an 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The device comes with an internal memory of 512 GB M.2-2280 PCIe SSD.
Other specifications include a 49Wh battery, a 720-pixel video lens, Yamaha 2W output stereo speakers, an array microphone design, and a fingerprint reader.
Lenovo’s LaVie Vega, the 15.6 inches laptop also comes with an OLED display panel. It weighs 1.84 kg and has a thickness of 1.84 cm. The laptop is powered by a 9th generation Intel core processors. The best vari8ant sports a Core i7 -9750H processor and an 8 GB DDR4-2666 memory. The device offers an internal storage space of 32 GB and 512 GB SSD memory.
The 80Wh battery provides 8.3 hours of operation time. Connectivity options includes 2×2 wireless Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. The device has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 or Gen 2 Type-C ports, a micro SD memory card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
LaVie Pro Mobile is priced at the rate of US $ 1599.99 while LaVie Vega is priced at the rate of US $ 2099.99.
Last, but not the least, the AIO model LaVie Home will be powered by a 10th generation Intel core processor with Intel Comet Lake architecture, and 8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM and 256 GB M.2-2280 PCIe SSD. Other specifications include a 3 TB 5400 RPM hard drive, a disc burner, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
LaVie Home is expected to come with a tagged price of US $ 1799.99.
