After the cyber headset and laptop, the “Cyber Phone” is here too. Since Musk announced the “Cybertruck”, the style of Cyber has begun to prevail. First, the Beyerdynamic announced a T1 Cyber headset with a triangular cone design, and then the Razer announced a Cyber notebook. Now, as per reports, some new renders surfaced online conveying a Cyber smartphone that is also inspired by the Cybertruck.
Jonas Daehnert said that he has designed this 7 inches Cyberphone with three rear cameras himself. The back panel of the Cyberphone adopts a Tesla Cybertruck like design.
As far as history is concerned, car companies have a long history of dabbling in the smartphone market. For example, Porsche and Huawei collaboration for Huawei Mate Porsche Design Series and collaboration of McLaren and OnePlus.
Now, a product designer has imagined what a Tesla engineered smartphone could look like. Frankly, it is quite possible that the design will never see the light of day.
Jonas Daehnert, in his Cyberphone design, has incorporated many 2019 cues such as a punch-hole front-facing camera, multiple rear-facing sensors, and the raised-edge on the back of the device.
It seems that Jonas Daehnert has also thought about the Cybertruck’s long headlight and how to and where to place it. He subtly tucked it into the top edge of the Cyber Smartphone.
Jonas Daehnert has around 10k followers and when he posted on Twitter, some of his followers tweeted Elon Musk in the hope that he could realize the Cyberphone while others like @PhoneDesigner created their own designs.
