Vivo working on JoviOS, soon it replaces the FuntouchOS

Vivo is set to launch its new operating system, JoviOS. Vivo JoviOS will replace the company’s previous operating system, FuntouchOS.

Today, at the noon, the project manager of Vivo Funtouch OS, Ge Yanan posted a picture on Weibo and the words “JoviOS” appeared in it. Ge Yanan said, “Thank you for having us, we will definitely explore forward!” and published the logo design draft of “JoviOS”.

It seems that “FuntouchOS” will be renamed to “JoviOS” and “JoviOS” will not be a totally different OS.

It should be noted that, during the Vivo X30 launch conference, the company teased a new operating system. In the comments section of the post made by Ge Yann, he confirmed that this is going to be the new OS that the company talked about during the Vivo X30 launch event.

Vivo will announce a specific adaptation plan of its JoviOS in its upcoming conference. According to the source, there might be a completely separate event for JoviOS. But still, we don’t have much information on the JoviOS. We should hear more about the upcoming Android-based Operating System in the coming days. Until stay tuned for more updates!
