Apple got somewhat success with its iPhone 11 series that got released this year so there is more and more anticipation over the next iPhone series, iPhone 12 series.
Blayne O’Curtis, a Barclay based analyst recently went to Asia to meet Apple supply chain manufacturers. After the visit, he revealed a couple of information regarding the iPhone 12 series and iPhone SE 2.
O’Curtis said that the iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max might come with a RAM of 6GB. iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max came with 4GB RAMs only. He also expects both models to sport a rear 3D sensing capability and millimeter wave support which will improve 5G performance. However, as per reports, the basic model of the iPhone 12 will come with a RAM of 4 GB.
O’Curtis pointed out that “iPhone SE 2” is in preparation and its mass production is scheduled to begin in February 2020. He said that it is going to be a low-cost model and it will look more or less like an iPhone 8 model. It will sport a display of 4.7 inches and Touch ID Home buttons. It will be powered by an A13 chip and a Ram of 3GB.
It is rumored that Apple is going to launch iPhone 12 series in September 2020 and iPhone SE 2 in March 2020. Blayne O’Curtis has a good history of leaks that turned into reality so his reports are quite reliable.
