Apple pulls out the “Ratings & Reviews” section from its online store

AppleInsider discovered and reported that Apple has removed all customer reviews from its online store. AppleInsider mentioned that initially, they got a tip from a reader that the reviews had been removed from the US, UK, and Australian Apple Stores.

In case you want to check whether it is real or not, you can take a look at the Wayback Machine archives for the original Apple Pencil for 16th November and 17th November as found by AppleInsider and you will see that on the 17th November screenshot, “Ratings & Reviews” section has evaporated!

This action means customers won’t be able to provide useful feedback on products available on Apple’s store. It seems that Apple has taken a dangerous action here and it is not only bad for the company reputation but bad for customers as well.

Customers won’t know before ordering if a particular product is bad or unlike by many. Just to let you know, there were at least 735 one-star reviews for the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.

Still, there are no official statements about this! We should hear from Apple soon! To be honest, the Review section helped all new customers to make a decision before making a purchase of Apple Products. We would say, the company has made a wrong move.
