Google Assistant Ambient Mode rolls out for more handsets

Earlier this year, tech giant Google’s venturing into smart displays led to the arrival of a new Google Assistant feature. The feature is known as Ambient Mode. It turns your handset irrespective of whether it is a smartphone or a tablet into smart displays on plugging them in for charging.

This feature was rolled out for only a handful of phones and tablets at launch but now, day by day, Google is rolling it out for more devices. As soon as you plug your device for charging, Google Assistant takes over the lock screen or always-on display and shows notifications, weather, music control, calendar events, and photo albums.
