For the budget consumer base, Xiaomi is perhaps the most preferred brand. A few months back, Xiaomi has already disrupted the smart TV segment in India. Xioami has been trying to attract different consumer bases with different specifications so they have already launched a couple of Smart TV devices in India to understand what is more accepted by the mass.

Now, after seeing the grand success of Xiaomi, other brands are also looking forward to emulating Xiaomi’s success. The latest brand to join the race is none other than Nokia.

According to reports, Nokia has signed a partnership deal with Flipkart to launch its Smart TV lineup in India. According to the deal, Flipkart will take care of the manufacturing and marketing of the Nokia Smart TVs. They are also marketing that this is going to be a “Make in India” initiative.

Today, Nokia’s first smart TV received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. Smart TV is rumored to come with a model number of 55CAUHDN. The listing reveals that the TV is going to come with a 55 inches 4K Ultra HD display panel.

Times of India reported that the upcoming Smart TV from Nokia will be named as Nokia TV and it will be powered by out of the box Android 9 Pie. Most likely, it is going to be a stock experience with no bloatware or added customizations.

They also suggested that the smart TV will come with Intelligent Dimming technology. This technology improves the contrast and color accuracy rate and makes sure that viewers get enhanced viewing experiences. Nokia has partnered with JBL to offer superior audio quality with this TV.

Just a few days back, Nokia announced Nokia TV for the Indian market. Reports suggest that it will likely make its debut in December 2019. Do share your thoughts on Nokia Television in the comment section below!
