Last week, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi launched two handsets: Mi CC9 Pro and Mi Note 10. Both the handsets sported a Penta camera system in the rear and a single selfie shooter. Now, another patent got leaked online which conveys that Xiaomi is currently working on a handset with five selfie cameras.
The sketches of the device suggest that it will have really thin bezels and no display notch. The patent was submitted on 20th August and was published on 8th November. It conveys that Xiaomi is developing a foldable phone with as many as five pop-up cameras.
The Xioami foldable phone sports an outward folding screen which means depending upon your use, they will cater both as a rear camera as well as a front camera. When the device is unfolded, the cameras are on the left side which is thicker.
However, it should be noted that we see plenty of devices at its patent state but most of it never gets available so even though there is a patent for the design, it does not conclude that we will get the final product sooner or later.
Though videos of a Xiaomi foldable device surfaced online, the Chinese tech giant is yet to announce the foldable device officially.
Back in September, Xiaomi announced Mi MIX Alpha. Mi MIX Alpha is expected to come with a flexible display that wraps around the device. The company disclosed that it will be available only in a limited quantity when it will be finally launched.
