Today, Xiaomi unveiled Mi CC9 Pro at an event in Beijing. It has been made official that indeed Mi CC9 Pro is going to commercially arrive with a 108-megapixel camera sensor. Overall, there will be as many as 5 rear camera sensors. After Nokia 9 PureView, Xioami Mi CC9 Pro is going to be the second phone to boast five rear-mounted cameras. Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro sports a waterdrop notch enabled edge to edge curved AMOLED display of 6.47 inches with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display has been TUV Rheinland approved which means it filters harmful rays.
Other specifications in terms of the display are: an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, a contrast ratio of 400000:1, HDR, 600 nits brightness, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, an ultra-thin optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
The first lens in the five rear-mounted camera system of the phone is a 4 axis OIS assisted 5-megapixel super-telephoto lens that supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x hybrid zoom. It is followed by a 12-megapixel portrait sensor with a pixel size of 1.4 microns. It is followed by a 108-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 4 axis OIS. It is developed by none other than Samsung itself. The regular edition has a 7P lens while the Premium Edition has an 8P lens. The fourth lens is a 20-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 117-degree field of view support. The last one is a 2-megapixel macro lens with a focal length of 1.5 cm.
The rear cameras come with some other cool features as well such as AI beauty support, AI scene recognition support, AI smart slimming support, AI studio light effect support, portrait mode support, super night scene mode support, macro video shooting support, 960 fps slow-motion HD video shooting support and 4K video shooting support. There is a pair of dual LED flash units (one hard light and one soft light) that assists the five cameras.
In the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The selfie camera also comes with a handful of cool specifications such as 3D beauty support, front HDR support, display flash support, panorama support, AI scene recognition support and Mimoji support.
The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 730G processor and it runs on Android 9 Pie OS flavored with MIUI 11 skin. Game Turbo 2.0 technology accelerates GPU performance while gaming. The smartphone is backed up by a 5260 mAh battery. The 30W fast charging technology allows it to get fully charged within 65 minutes. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, multi-functional NFC, GPS, IR blaster, USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device comes in three color options – Dark Night Phantom, Ice and Snow Aurora, and Magical Green.

The Xiaomi MI CC9 Pro comes in 3 variants in terms of RAM and internal storage combination. The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variant is tagged with price tag of 2799 Yuan (approximately US $ 400) while the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variant comes with a price tag of 3099 Yuan (approximately US $ 440) and the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage (Premium Edition) variant is tagged with a price tag of 3499 Yuan (approximately US $ 500).
It is also revealed by the company that in the international markets, Xiaomi will sell MI CC9 Pro as Xiaomi MI Note 10. Xiaomi MI Note 10 will go official in Spain tomorrow. In the event, Xioami mentioned that they are also looking forward to a possible Pro variant for the international market.
