Vivo is gearing up to launch the successor of Vivo S1, Vivo S5. The device will arrive on 14th November at an event in Hangzhou, China. Earlier this week, the company itself teased Vivo S5 revealing a triple camera setup on the back. However, apart from the release date, very few details about the Vivo S5 have been revealed so far.

The Vivo S1 and S1 Pro were photo-centric smartphones, which indicates Vivo S5 will come with a big emphasis on oncamera performance. The Vivo S5 is expected to come with a 48 megapixel or 64-megapixel primary camera along with two more cameras and a 32-megapixel shooter in the front.

It has been reported that in the official website of Vivo, a booking interface of Vivo S5 mobile phone has appeared which confirms the upper right corner punch screen design.

Judging from the official renderings currently published, this phone uses the design of a perforated screen single camera with the punched position in the upper right corner of the phone. In addition, the frame of the mobile phone also seemed to be narrower on the rendered image.

The interface also shows that the Vivo S5 mobile phone will launch the “ikun” custom gift box along with the device which includes mobile phones, badges, and postcards.

However, as of now, there are no reliable renderings of the back of the phone. In a video, it was seen that the back cover of Vivo S5 uses a blue and green combination color gradient scheme surrounded by a layer of light pink. The rear camera seems to have a new diamond design and is expected to have a good photo performance.

As per rumors, Vivo S5 might come with an OLED display, a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. However the poster, it seems the smartphone will be available for pre-order from 11th November. But other sources suggest the launch date will be on Nov 14.
