Today, Tesla announced the standard version of the assisted driving model of Tesla Model 3. This standard upgrade version model is now officially open for booking. It comes with a price tag of 355800 Yuan. The company will start delivering the car from the first quarter of next year. However, this is exclusively for the consumers of China.
The official announcement conveyed that interested consumers can log on to Tesla China official website or directly go to the Tesla Experience Center for consultation or reservation. The upgraded version of the Tesla Model 3 standard is also expected to receive purchase tax reduction and other national new energy related policies in the near future.
Tesla Model 3 has a cruising range of 460 km, a maximum speed of 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h. The basic version of the assisted driving function became standard on this model. The basic version of the Model 3 standard upgrade is equipped with collision prevention, blind spot monitoring, lane departure avoidance, emergency lane departure avoidance, and other safety functions. The car is also integrated with auto assisted steering and active cruise control.
With this model, currently, Tesla has 3 variants of Tesla Model 3 which is being sold in China. Among them, the Model 3 high-performance all-wheel-drive version has an acceleration of 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 261 km/h. The model 3 long-life all-wheel-drive version has a cruising range of up to 590 km and accelerates at the rate of 100 km 4.6 seconds.
Tesla is also offering a car warranty of 4 years or 80000 km (whichever comes first) for the Model 3 standard upgrade, battery and drive unit warranty of 8 years or 160000 km (whichever comes first).
