    Lenovo unveils X3C Pro, a full metal body Flash Drive with dual USB-C & USB 3.1


    Last month, Lenovo launched its new ThinkPad series which offers enhanced privacy and data security. Just like the previous years, the new ThinkPad series comes as workstation models and Yoga series models. ThinkPad T490, ThinkPad P43, and ThinkPad P1 are the new workstation models.

    ThinkPad T490 is specially designed by Lenovo for multitasking professionals. It weighs only 1.46 Kg and is only 17.9 mm thick with slim bezels. The display is of 14 inches and you have options of WQHD IPS display and Low Power FHD IPS display. WQHD IPS display comes with Dolby Vision screen support.

    The workstation is powered by 48GB DDR4 RAM and 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with built-in vPro security. Users can choose between integrated Intel Graphics 620 and Nvidia’s dedicated MX 250 graphics card. The device offers an internal storage of 1TB PCIe SSD.

    The 50Whr battery provides up to 16 hours of battery life with a single charge. Other features include a Match on Chip fingerprint touch sensor, an IR camera, Windows Hello, a ThinkShutter webcam, ThinkPad PrivacyGuard, and ThinkPad PrivacyAlert.

    Within a few days of this launch, now, Lenovo has officially come up with a new U disk, X3C Pro. It uses a full metal rotating body and is equipped with two interfaces: USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB Type C.

    Other key features include a built-in high-speed chip, read speed of up to 120 MB per second, write speed of up to 40MB per second, and black plastic integrated package. It offers an internal storage of 32GB/64GB/128GB/256GB and the 32GB version is tagged with a price tag of 49.9 Yuan. The Lenovo X3C Pro flash drive comes in two colors – Black and Silver.

    According to the company, the new small new U disk has already passed a number of tests. The list includes the IP65 test, high-temperature resistance test, rust resistance test, plugging test, unplugging test, Apple, Huawei, Lenovo, and other brand’s compatibility tests. However, the 2018 iPad Pro is not supported by the new U disk.
