Lenovo Legion Y9000X to come with VC liquid cooling technology

Lenovo has made it official that it is going to release its Y9000X notebook on 11th October this year. Now, an official has disclosed some key features of Lenovo Y9000X notebook. Some of them are vacuum liquid cooling technology and CPU single roasting up to 60W.

Lenovo Y9000X is a standard notebook without a separate display. It is equipped with four fans which are officially known as TSI Pro frost blade cooling system. The four fans cool down the system in reverse turbocharge technology by reducing noise. With VC ultra-thin vacuum liquid cooling, the cooling efficiency has increased over 25%. The devices run on i7 and i9 processors but due to these heat-dissipating configurations, the machines can perform at 60 W.

The VC liquid cooling uses a Vapor Chamber which is nothing but a vacuum chamber with a fine structure on the inner wall. The coolant in the chamber is heated as soon as heat is transferred from the heat source to the VC chamber. Now, when it comes into contact with the cold end of the cooling fan, the gas condenses to release the heat absorbed before by absorbing the heat.

Lenovo showcased a model of the Y9000 series laptop at ChinaJoy 2019, the Chinese digital entertainment conference that took place in Shanghai. A few months ago, it was reported that Lenovo is going to launch Legion Y9000K only in China. Now, it seems that the Chinese company is prepping a Legion Y9000X which will also be exclusive for the Chinese market.

However, it should be noted that Legion Y9000X is not a successor to the Legion Y9000K but a different model of the same series. Apparently, Y9000X is almost one third thinner than the Y9000K. Y9000X has a display of 15.6 inches while Y9000K has a display of 17.3 inches.
