OPPO K5 to launch on October 10 in China, 64MP quad cameras

Today, OPPO has officially confirmed that its upcoming OPPO K5 will be unveiled on October 10 in China. The invite poster confirms the 64-megapixel Quad rear cameras and a new camera mode along with the color of the device. So on the same day, we can expect the launch of Reno2 F and OPPO Reno Ace alongside Oppo K5.

According to the poster, the Oppo K5 smartphone will be equipped with a 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear and we can expect some new feature named Black and White, Retro portrait mode. Also, Oppo K5 device will come in three color variants – Cyber Metal Blue, Metal Fantasy Green and Polar Sunshine White.

As per existing news, the OPPO K5 model is “PCNM00”. The size of the mobile phone is 158.7×75.2×8.6mm and the weight is 182g. It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, the resolution is 2340×1080, and the device packs a 3920mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

In terms of hardware, it is said that it will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage space. For the camera unit, the Quad rear camera combined 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel and a coupled of 2-megapixel sensor. At the front, it has 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Oppo K5 adopts a dimension of 158.7 x 75.2 x 8.6mm and weighs around 182 grams. The Chinese smartphone maker is yet to confirm the availability of the Oppo K5 device. We should hear more details about the device in the coming days.
