    Huawei Watch GT 2 launched, promises 2 weeks of battery life


    So the much-awaited Huawei Watch GT 2 was officially launched today in Munich, Germany alongside Mate 30 series. The new Huawei Watch GT 2 packs a ton of improved features that really surpasses its predecessor. We already reported on Watch GT 2, and all those previous rumors and leaks match the official product.

    The second-generation Watch GT 2 comes in two size – 46mm and 42mm. The 46mm variant sports a 1.39-inch OLED screen while the 42mm comes with a 1.2-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. Both watches come with a 3D glass uni-surface. and powered by Kirin A1 processor and 5ATM rated, which means these smartwatches are water-resistant up to 50 meters.

    Huawei Watch GT 2 adopts a premium design and loaded with improved sensors to keep up with the fitness tracking and monitoring features. It comes with underwater heart rate monitoring sensor with 12 running courses and 15 workout modes that include walking, hiking, running, swimming and more activities.

    The company claims, the smartwatch can last up to two weeks on a single charge. On normal usage, it can last up to 14 days and on active GPS mode, it can last up to 30 hours. It comes with Bluetooth for connectivity purpose. Also, Watch 2 runs Huawei’s LiteOS.

    Other features include sleep monitoring, Always-On display, remote control camera, Find phone feature, GPS and more to be listed. Huawei Watch GT 2 will come in Sports and Classic versions.

    Talking about the price, the 42mm Huawei Watch GT 2 is priced at 229 Euros while the 46mm variant comes with a price tag of 249 Euros. These watches will be available for sale from October.
