Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G to feature VC Liquid Cooling technology

Xiaomi already confirmed about the launch of Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G device. On September 24, the Chinese company will be unveiling Mi 9 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mix, Xiaomi Full Screen Pro TV and MIUI 11. Ahead of the launch, today Xiaomi has announced major specs of the upcoming Mi 9 Pro smartphone.

The company shared the specs on their official Weibo account. According to the post, Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and with custom VL Liquid Cooling system.

They mentioned “heat dissipation area of ​​1127mm2”. So the new cooling technology to have 5 layers of graphite, high thermal conductivity copper foil and some thermal gel. With these three combinations, the CPU core temperature can be reduced by 10.2 °C.

The post also says “Fast is not just 5G, but also excellent cooling ability!”. Sure, that’s true!

Additionally, Xiaomi confirmed that the smartphone will support 40W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. With the 30W wireless charging, the Mi 9 Pro 5G device can be charged up to 50 percent in just 25 minutes while the 40W fast charging will change the device 100% by taking 48 minutes.

Meanwhile, the rumored specs suggest the device will sports a 6.39-inch display with UFS 3.0 flash memory. The handset expected to arrive with 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The device will be equipped with a 48MP triple camera setup at the rear.

So here the interesting part is the new VC Liquid Cooling technology, hope it would be promising. Also, the powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus processor might entertain a bit! Xiaomi should bring lots of new features.

To remind, Xiaomi is hosting an event on 24th September to launch a new range of products that includes Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi MIX 4, Mi smart TV and MIUI 11. We can expect the Mi 9 Pro 5G with MIUI 11 out of the box.
