Asus ROG Phone 2 launching in India on 23rd September

In the month of July, Asus has launched its latest gaming smartphone in China, the ROG Phone 2. Now Asus India has officially confirmed that the ROG Phone 2 will be arriving in India on 23rd September. It is also expected that the company will unveil some bunch of new ROG gaming accessories on the same day.

According to the tweet, Asus will be hosting a launch event in New Delhi on September 23 to launch its nee ROG Phone 2. The smartphone will be likely sold through The tweet goes by “23rd September is the day when the ROG Phone II will quench the thirst for the ultimate weapon.”

The ROG Phone II comes with the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.0 storage space. The device runs pre-installed Android 9 Pie out of the box. ROG Phone 2 will be the first Android home to feature a 120Hz AMOLED screen. The device sports a 6.59 inches display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels which supports 10-bit HDR.

The device is equipped with dual rear camera setup – 48MP primary sensor and 13MP 125-degree ultra-wide sensor and a 24MP selfie shooter. It comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor, front stereo speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack with low latency. The device packs a huge 6,000mAh battery with 30W Fast Charging technology which Asus calls ROG HyperCharge.

Talking about the price, ROG Phone 2 starts at 3,499 Yuan that is roughly Rs. 35,000 in India. Let’s wait to hear the official price tag of this premium gaming smartphone. To remind, Asus ROG Phone 2 launch date confirmed and it’s arriving in India on September 23. Let’s wait!
