While launching Oppo Reno 2 series, the company confirmed that it’s working on a new device named Reno Ace. We reported that Oppo Reno Ace will come with 90Hz display, 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support and unknown launch date. Today, Oppo officially revealed the launch date of Reno Ace smartphone. The Oppo Reno Ace will be launched on 10th October in China with the same aforementioned configuration.
Today Oppo announced the release of Reno Ace and 65W SuperVOOC technology. According to the Weibo post, “Ace is the trump card! Equipped with 65W Super Flash Charger”. In other words, Oppo Reno Ace will be the first smartphone to feature the world’s fastest fast charging technology.
Some report claims, that 65W SuperVOOC is faster than other existing fast charging technology and it will charge up to 40 percent in just 10 minutes. It is also rumored to sports a 6.6inch FHD+ curved edge display with thin bezels, up to 100% screen space. We can expect a pop-up or an under-screen camera selfie shooter.
As per TENNA database, some Oppo device with a model name “PCKM70” that will be powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB onboard storage, Quad Camera setup at the rear, a 4,000mAh battery and it supports 5G connectivity.
These rumored specs are not yet officially confirmed to expect on Oppo Ace smartphone. We will have to wait till October 10th for the official launch of Oppo Reno Ace device. We should hear more regarding the device in the coming weeks.
