Lenovo Carme smartwatch debuts in India, priced at Rs. 3,499

Lenovo Carme (HW25P) smartwatch has been launched by Lenovo in India. The smartwatch is priced at Rs. 3,499. The product is available from September 15 on Flipkart and Croma in two color variant – Black and Green. It is being brought in and distributed in India by a company called PR Innovations.

The Lenovo Carme sports a 1.3-inches IPS color display with 2.5D curved surface design and touch support. The 2.5D design is to prevent blind angles and allow the user to read the content in bright light.

The smartwatch has integrated with many health and fitness feature claims Lenovo. It has a pedometer, a 24-hour heart rate monitor and sleep monitor features to attract fitness conscious people. It also has sports mode such as badminton, football, running, swimming, basketball, cycling and running.

The Lenovo Carme is IP68 rated which makes the smartwatch dust and water-resistant. It also provides information about new text messages in the connected smartphone through notifications.

CP Khandelwal, Founder, PR Innovations, said in a statement, “Owing to the needs of the tech-savvy generation, Lenovo Carme brings alive the latest technology with a unique combination of trendy design and wide array of smart features… We are hopeful that just like our previous launches, Lenovo Carme will also be well accepted by the India market.”

The smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch IPS color display. The display is fitted with a one-touch sensor. The smartwatch’s battery is claimed to work for seven days on a single full charge. It is compatible with Android and iOS platforms.

In addition, Bluetooth 4.2 is equipped with the smartwatch. The weather forecast, stopwatch, notifications for text messages, calls, emails and alarm reminder features have been incorporated in Lenovo Carme smartwatches.

Talking about the Lenovo Carme smartwatch is priced at Rs. 3,499 (~$50) and will be available for sale from 15th September thorugh Flipkart and Croma stores in India.
