A few days back, Apple has launched a variety of new products but didn’t refresh its AirPods lineup. We all know, the AirPods 2 was unveiled in March, so the company might have thought its too early to release another gadget in a short period of time. Today, Slashleaks has shared images reportedly suggesting Apple AirPods 3 charging case.
As per the leaked images, the AirPods 3 charging case is smaller in size when compared to its successor. It is also rumored that the company might launch two variants of AirPods 3. We still don’t have any confirmation that the prototype is actually an AirPods 3.
Meanwhile, Apple never mentioned about the launch of AirPods 3 during the iPhone 11 launch event. We might expect the Apple AirPods 3 to be announced next year.
However, the charging case size is smaller the company might be improved the AirPods efficiency just like they did with the iPhone 11 series. The smartphone has similar battery size just like previous iPhone devices, yet Apple focused on A13 Bionic chipset with optimized performance and power efficiency. The company claims the A13 Bionic is power-efficient up to 40 percent providing up to five hours for the newly launched iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The Apple AirPods 2 features H1 chipset instead of Q1 chip. If Apple working on improving battery life, we can expect next-generation chipset with results in power efficiency. The Q1 chip is reportedly replaced to improve the connectivity of the AirPods.
To recall, Apple AirPods 2 comes with H1 chipset with Qi-based wireless charging support. The second-generation AirPods features hands-free function that allows the users to control the playback via Siri voice commands. The AirPods 2 and Charging case comes with a price tag of $199.
