Just a few weeks back, OnePlus revealed that the company’s first smart TV, OnePlus TV is going to come with 8 speakers for a combined output of 50 watts and the TV will support Dolby Atmos in order to deliver a moving audio experience to its users.
Interestingly, it is once again the company’s CEO who made the revelation. This not only gives a promotional boost but also confirms the authenticity of the leak.
Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus posted a teaser of the upcoming smart TV of the company, OnePlus TV on Twitter revealed that the new TV will be equipped with Dolby Atmos surround sound and 8 Speakers.
It is expected that “OnePlus is going to launch the premium OLED smart TV as early as this month in India and it will be made available through Amazon.

In a press release, OnePlus stated that “The fusion of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos will turn OnePlus TV into an entertainment powerhouse.” The company further revealed that the device will come with a dedicated Gamma color magic processor.
On the other hand, as far as the operating system is concerned, the company disclosed that the version of Android will vary from market to market. According to experts, the OS is expected to be as refined as Oxygen OS. Just to let you know, current OnePlus smartphones run on Oxygen OS.
Just a few days back, OnePlus released a teaser featuring a smart remote for OnePlus TV. The remote features a brushed metal finish just like an Apple TV remote. This teaser was followed by another revelation by the company’s CEO. He revealed that the design of OnePlus TV will have the kevlar back finish.
Recently, it was confirmed by the company that they will release a 55 inches model in India and a 75 inches model in the US and China.
