MSI is a renowned company for manufacturing curvy LED heavy gaming monitors. It seems that now, the company also wants to bring a sleek no-frills monitor in its product list. MSI announced that its 34 inches Prestige PS341WU is expected to get shipped on 16th September 16. The company announced a promotional rebate for this product at the rate of $200 from today onwards until 29th September. As per reports, MSI has joined hands with B&H in order to offer this $200 gift card.
Last year, the tech giant made fun of the absurd 00 Apple monitor and this 34 inches Prestige PS341WU seems to add salt over the wound. It is a 5K (5120×2160 pixel) ultra-wide (21:9) IPS monitor with 98% DCI-P3 coverage and full sRGB coverage. The twist is, MSI designed this monitor for the same kind of content creators and professionals who use Apple iMacs.
As far as price is concerned, this 34 inches device comes with an original price tag of $1199. The application of promo cuts as much as $200 and makes the new price $999, which is indeed the price of the Apple monitor. It seems that it is not a coincidence, and the company has done it intestinally and strategically!

This giveaway program is expected to run in renowned social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You check out the giveaway page in B&H website which discloses some more details about the monitor.
It is interesting to note that the Prestige PS341WU monitor is not the only product made by the company for professional content creators; Prestige P100 Desktop is also there. Both are created for hardcore professionals. While 5K display is the key feature of the 34 inches Prestige PS341WU monitor, the key feature of Prestige P100 Desktop is that it is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti graphics power unit.
“MSI understands that the creative process can be intricate, complex, and non-linear. That’s why we designed our Prestige series to be adaptable and simple to use, allowing creators to focus on their masterpieces and not on their computers,” says Charles Chiang, MSI’s Global CEO.
