Huawei FreeBuds 3 comes with new Kirin A1 Bluetooth chipset that can offer dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The earbuds use isochronous Dual Channel transmission so that it promises low latency and lower consumption. They use a dedicated 14mm dynamic driver and bass tube, that provide excellent bass output.
The FreeBuds 3 has a latency of 190ms and the noise cancellation feature is customizable through the companion mobile application. It is claimed that FreeBuds 3 is the world’s first earbuds with open-fit ANC with up to 15db ambient noise reduction. Since the earbuds have low latency, they are perfect for gamers. The earbuds also employ bone conduction technology using a built-in bone voice sensor.
Finally, the battery life – the earbuds can last up to 4 hours playback time, while the charging chase can extend it up to 20 hours of extra battery life. The charging cases support fast charging and support both wired and wireless charging.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3 comes in two color variants – Ceramic White and Carbon Black. The company hasn’t revealed pricing and availability details. We expect the Huawei FreeBuds 3 will be available for sale next month alongside Huawei Mate X in Europe.
