For a while, it’s been rumored that Samsung is working on a new tablet and finally Samsung made it official today. This time the company focused its tablet lineups with durability and better-built quality. Samsung announced a new rugged tablet in Germany named, Galaxy Tab Active Pro.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with IP68 ratings which means it can resist from dust and water and the built quality meets the MIL-STD 810G US military standard. In other words, the rugged tablet protective case can possibly protect the tablet, even dropping from a height of 1.2m which is nearly 4 feet.
However, the company didn’t reveal the specs of the Galaxy Tab Active Pro. According to SamMobile, a previously surfaced benchmarks score of a mysterious tablet might this tablet. As per the source, the tablet comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 or 712 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The table will come with Android Pie OS out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro sports a 10-inch display with a resolution fo 1920×1200 pixels. The gadget can be connected to an external monitor using the DeX mode feature.
In addition, the tablet equipped with a 13MP camera at the rear and 8MP front-facing camera and packs a user-replaceable battery of 7,600mAh. It also supports S pen, like other Samsung’s tablets.
About the availability and pricing, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro will be available for sale from 1st October and it comes with a price tag of €600 (Wi-Fi variant) & €680 (LTE variant). Still, Samsung hasn’t provided any information on the global launch.
