After following series of rumors and leaks, Nubia official announced its new gaming smartphone named Red Magic 3S. The Nubia Red Magic 3S is an upgraded version Red Magic 3 smartphone. The Red Magic 3S pricing starts from 2999 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 30,000 in India) and will be available globally from October.

As reported, the Nubia Red Magic 3S sports a 6.65-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with HDR support. Under the hood, Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset powers up the device coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.

The Red Magic 3S is equipped with an 48MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor at the rear and a 16MP selfie shooter at the front. The device comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers, 3D sound technologies, DTS:X and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Red Magic 3S houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 27W quick charging technology.

In addition, the device comes with an active cooling system with improved air inlet and turbofan along with liquid cooling technology. Since its a gaming device it has touch-sensitive controls and customizable RGB lights effects. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie with Redmagix OS 2.1 out of the box.

Other connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB Type-C port.

Talking about the price and availability, the Nubia Red Magic 3S 8GB/128GB variant is priced at 2999 Yuan (~ $430) and the 12GB/256GB variant comes with a price tag of 3799 Yuan (~ $540). Also, Nubia confirmed that the device will be available for sale from October. Nubia Red Magic 3S will be available in three colors – Flame Red, Black and Silver.
