Nikon D6 – The most advance DSLR camera is here! The company announced that it’s working on D6 DSLR camera and promised it would be the best DSLR camera ever. Though, Nikon didn’t share any specs of the camera. Just like other D-series DSLR, we expect advanced features and improvements.
Like mentioned, the company just announced the D6 camera with a photo of the camera itself. The blog post does mention “its most advance Digital SLR yet”. The photo of Nikon D6 suggests similar design like its successor D5 and D4.
In addition, Nikon also mentioned that it is working on a new fast telephoto zoom lens, the AF-S Nikkor 120-300mm f/2.8E FL lens targeting the wildlife and sports photographers.
Earlier today Nikon Europe mistakenly tweeted about the D6 camera mentioned: “The newly announced D6 development will reinforce Nikon DSLR’s advantage in sports photojournalism.”
This caption seems more powerful and we expect better sensor, processor, new technology to track fast-moving subjects with improved autofocus. Since they mentioned sports, we can also expect advanced burst mode with the eye-tracking feature.
However, it is rumored that Nikon D6 camera will come 24MP sensor with improved sensor stabilization feature with 4K video recording at 60fps.
Nikon might have plans to release its new D6 DSLR camera with new zoom lens in October 2019. Still, we don’t have any information about the specs, launch details and pricing, either the telephoto lens. We should hear more details about the camera in the coming weeks.
