Samsung Galaxy Fold is up for pre-registration in the United States

Samsung’s proclaimed foldable smartphone named Galaxy Fold to make its arrival soon. We were already aware that Samsung opened registration for the device in China. Today, Samsung Galaxy Fold is now up for pre-registration in the United States.

Samsung allowing users to register on Samsung’s website in order to increase the chance for buying the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone on the launch day itself. As per the listing, the Galaxy Fold is priced at $1,980 and comes in three color variants – Black Hinge, Dark Silver Hinge and Gold Hinge. Still, users can’t pre-order, instead, they can show interest by registering.

To remind, Samsung hasn’t confirmed about the launch date. It is rumored the Galaxy Fold will be launched on 6th September, but no official confirmation. Since the first batch of Galaxy Fold failed, the company will make sure it passes the required standards and with some display improvements.

Talking about the specs, the Galaxy Fold will be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. Galaxy Fold is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes 12MP wide-angle and Telephoto camera and 16MP ultra-wide camera. At the front, it comes with a 12MP selfie shooter. The device packs a dual cell 4380mAh battery.
