MIUI 11 likely to be launched on 24th September along with MI MIX 4 and Mi 9S

Renowned tech leak website Xiaomishka is claiming that Xiaomi will launch its MI MIX 4 as early as within this month itself. The expected date of release is on 24th September 24 in Shanghai. In its official blog, Xiaomishka they posted an article further claiming that the Chinese tech giant is going to launch MIUI 11 and Mi 9S 5G smartphones on the same date.

Xiaomi took several months to build and test MIUI 11 and currently, the beta version of the software is already available for a number of devices. The MIUI 10 9.8.29 beta firmware should be the last. After which the developers focus directly on the release of the first release of the eleventh version.

Xiaomishka said that they extracted the confidential information from their contacts in China. It should be noted that Xiaomi has not yet confirmed or announced anything regarding the launch date of any of these devices.

A few days back, Xiaomishka stated that MIUI 11 will be based on Android 10 which will be rolled out in a number smartphones including Mi 9, Mi 9 Explorer Edition, Mi 9 SE, Redmi K20, Mi MIX 3, K20 Pro. During that time, Xiaomishka said that the MIUI 11 update will be rolled out to a bunch of other smartphones as well which includes names like Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series.

They also pointed out that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series will indeed get the update but that might start from its second batch.

It is interesting to note that a few days back, Xiaomi’s Product Director and General Manager for MIUI Experience revealed that in order to improve user experience, the upcoming MIUI 11 will not only enhance system stability but also lower the number of advertisements.

As mentioned above, the Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 is excepted to be launched on September 24 along with flagship smartphones like MI MIX 4 and Mi 9S. There is one more rumor surfacing around Xiaomi and that is the company might introduce a Google Duplex style calling feature soon in its devices.
