Today, HP refreshed its Omen gaming lineup by announcing the latest monitor named Omen X. The new Omen X 27-inch screen comes with QHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and supports the Freesync 2 HDR. The 27-inch Omen X display is priced at $650.
Talking about the specs, the Omen X sports a 27-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The monitor support HDR with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The Omen X features a 1ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate. It also supports AMD’s Freesync 2 HDR that provides better gaming experience with high frame rates.
To add more, the Omen X comes with ambient lightning that reduces eye fatigue and it allows the users to adjust the lighting based on the visual and match the color of the stand. The company claims, the stand is perfectly adjustable and provides 130mm of transition. The Omen X 27 ports include DisplayPort, HDMI and 2x USB 3.0 ports.
About the price and availability, Omen X monitors will be available for sale from September and it comes with a retail price of $650.
As a bonus, HP also introduced its new gaming headset, the Omen Mindframe Prime. The headphone uses graphite heat spreaders of each ear cups that reduce the heat and gives more comfort. Also, the HP Mindframe Prime headphone is equipped with dual noise-canceling microphones and it claimed to reduce up to 40db even in a loud environment.
The Mindframe Prime headphones will be available for sale from August in Europe region. The headphone is priced at $199.
