Dell launches Alienware Aurora R9, G5 Gaming PCs, OLED monitors at Gamescom 2019

Gamescom 2019 event kicked off today in Cologne, Germany. Dell has unveiled a handful of gaming PCs and accessories in this event so far. The list includes Dell G5 gaming desktops and Alienware Aurora R9 desktops along with a number of OLED gaming monitors manufactured by Dell and Alienware, mouse and gaming keyboards.

Dell G5 is a budget-friendly gaming computer. As far as the core technical details are concerned, Dell G5 can be powered highest by an Intel Core i9-9900K CPU, 64GB of DDR4-2666 RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics chip. Dell G5 is tagged with a price tag of $629 and it is available for purchase in the US.

Alienware Aurora R9 desktop comes with a minimalist design. It is smaller and looks more compact. Dell claims that this minimalist design will boost airflow inside the case which will lower the overall temperatures of the system.

As far as the core technical details are concerned, Aurora R9 can be powered highest by an Intel’s 9th-gen Core i9-9900K processor, 64GB of HyperX Fury DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon 5700XT graphic card. The device is now available for sale in the US at the rate of $970.

Dell also introduced the world’s first 55-inch OLED gaming monitors at Gamescom 2019. The Alienware AW5520QF gaming monitor is a 55 inches gaming computer monitor jointly manufactured by Dell and Alienware. The monitor comes with 4K UHD pixel resolution, AMD FreeSync technology support, and a VESA mount adapter. The built-in speakers are tuned with Waves MaxxAudio to offer the best audio clarity.

From 30th September onwards, it will be available for purchase in the US at the rate of $3,999.99.

Gaming Keyboards, Mice & Accessories

Dell launched a 16000 DPI wireless mouse with custom adjustable scroll wheel and 7 programmable buttons and an RGB mechanical gaming keyboard with the latest Cherry MX Red keys. Alongside these, there is also a 34 inches WQHD 120Hz curved gaming monitor launched by Dell in the event.
