Following up the leaks of Vivo NEX 3, here come new details of Vivo NEX 3 device. The new leak suggests the Vivo NEX 3 will support 5G connectivity. Earlier today, a screenshot was posted on Weibo that shows a 5G logo shown at the top status bar. That confirms the flagship Vivo NEX 3 will support 5G connectivity.
The general manager of the Vivo Products “栾心林 Lance” released a screenshot of a new Vivo smartphone. Possibly it can be Vivo NEX 5 smartphone. It is worth noting that the screenshot shows a “5G” logo is displayed on the status bar. It was already rumored Vivo NEX 3 to have a 5G variant, but we don’t have any confirmation. In the same post says “For the speed of Shenzhen network construction, the key is the subway.”
Taking a look at the screenshot, the status bar has a “5G” logo with full network coverage it confirms. Also, the top bar shows the device time, a cloud and log icon. In another post, he mentioned, “The new machine is in my hands, and I am quite satisfied with it.“
As per the Vivo NEX 3 sketch design, the device will sports a waterfall display with 90-degree curvature of the screen edges. We can expect an in-display camera since the sketch didn’t show off any pop-up cameras in the design. Vivo NEX 3 is equipped with a triple camera setup in a circular design. Still, we don’t have information on the camera lens. Also, the company retains the 3.5mm audio jack port.
Talking about the specs, the Vivo NEX 3 will be powered by new Snapdragon 855 Plus processor coupled with 16GB of RAM. The device is packed with a massive battery that supports 120W fast charging technology. Also, Vivo NEX 3 will support 5G network connectivity and its IP68 rated.
Vivo is gearing up to launch the device in China soon. But still, we don’t have the confirmation on the device name. It is also rumored that Vivo NEX Dual Display smartphone will be revealed along with the NEX 3 device. As per the report, the Vivo NEX 3 will official announced in September.
